After making a splashing debut in ‘Thottal Poo Malarum’, Sakthi, son of veteran director P Vasu, is gearing up with his next. The movie is titled uniquely as ‘Mahesh, Saranya Mattrum Palar’. As the title suggests, he plays a happy-go-lucky youngster Mahesh and Sandhya plays Saranya, his ladylove. Produced by Kool Productions, the movie is directed by V Ravi, a former associate of director Lingusamy. Ravi has written the story, screenplay and dialogues too for the film. According to Ravi, 'It is a youthful entertainer. Both Sakthi and Sandhya are young and vibrant. I feel they are apt to play the lead roles. It is a routine romantic story but narrated with a difference'. The highlight of the movie is its music by Vidyasagar. Says Ravi, “I am a great fan of Vidyasagar. When I decided to do a movie, I immediately decided to approach him. In spite of his busy schedule, he was kind enough to accept my offer. He happily accepted to compose music for the movie ‘Mahesh, Saranya, Mattrum Palar’.”
