The much-awaited Dhanush starrer 'Padikathavan', directed by Suraj and presented by Sun Pictures, was censored in Chennai on Monday evening. A commercial entertainer, the movie features Tamanna playing Dhanush's ladylove. Vivek plays a prominent role. Suraj, who directed films like 'Maruthamalai' before, is confident that 'Padikathavan' would make it big. 'It is a breezy entertainer with Dhanush at his best. The encounter between Tamanna and Dhanush will bring the roof down. Vivek's comical role is another major highlight of the movie, says Suraj. The movie was censored on Monday for a Pongal release. Impressed with the movie, the censor officials reportedly handed over an 'U' certificate for the entertainer. |
